Ingredients (makes 6)

  • 1 packet red jelly (make the day before)
  • ice cream
  • 50-100g cooking chocolate
  • chopped mixed nuts (optional)

What to do :

  • Turn the pre-set jelly out onto a plate (slide a knife around the jelly if it gets stuck!)
  • Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a basin over simmering water Pour evenly over the jelly so it dribbles down the sides like lava! (Be careful - it will be hot!)
  • Put scoopfuls of ice cream on the flat top of the jelly to make the volcanoes clouds of ash.
  • Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the volcano sundae representing volcanic bombs!
  • Enjoy exploring the edible layers of your volcano!
